Glassy Refraction

Glassy Refraction is a 3D digital environment inspired by the Italian surrealist painter, Giorgio de Chirico. With this project I wanted to probe our understanding of space by manipulating perspective -- at times it it hard to understand what is being refracted through a glass-like material and what is not. To further push this idea, I included video footage from the 2021 Mars landing, which blends in with the ground color in the environment. This project was built using geometry made in Vectorworks and assembled and made interactive in Unreal Engine.
